Vivo will be launching Vivo S5 smartphone in China on November 14. Now ahead of the launch, the phone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing has revealed quite a few specifications of the upcoming smartphone which are inline with earlier leaks.
As per the GeekBench listing, theVivo S5 smartphone will be powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor. In addition to the chipset, the Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will feature 8GB of RAM.
For the software, theVivo S5 will run Android Pie out of the box. The benchmark results revealed the phone scored 1884 points in the single-core test and 6069 points in the multi-core test.
As per a recent leaked render, Vivo S5 will come in two colour variants – Light Blue and Purple. The rear of the phone will feature a unique diamond-shaped camera setup withthree camera lenses and the LED flash inside the module. The fourth camera lens will lie below the three camera sensors. The front panel will feature a hole-punched display to house the selfie camera.
An earlier TENAA listing revealed that Vivo S5 will be equipped with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. It will be powered with a 2.3GHz Octa-core processor, which could be Snapdragon 712 10nm SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will run Android 9 Pie operating system.
The phone will come with a 48-megapixel lens, an 8-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. For the font, it will house a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It will be fueled by a 4,010mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support. Connectivity options will include VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C port. The phone will measure 157.9 x 73.92 x 8.64mm and weighs 188 grams.
