China mobile phone maker, Vivo today introduced the launch of three Y series smartphones in India. The handsets – Y27L, Y31 and Y15S – are priced between Rs 6,000 to Rs 13,000.

The premium model in the series, Vivo Y27L comes with 4G connectivity and is priced at Rs 12,980. Incidentally, it was available in the market since last week about which we reported earlier as well. However, there is no information about the price of other two handsets.
The Vivo Y27L has a 4.7 inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution. It has the quad core, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor that runs at 1.2 GHz apart from Adreno 306 GPU, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, and a micro SD card slot of 128 GB capacity.
The Vivo Y27L runs on Funtouch OS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system and offers an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera with an LED flash light and normal, night, panorma, bokeh and face beauty camera features. For selfies, the phone offers a 5 megapixel front camera. The device offers an 2260 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Besides, the Vivo Y27L has FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS with A-GPS and 4G connectivity along with dual SIM. The phone measures 136.9 Ã— 68.1 Ã— 6.99 mm and weighs 137 grams. Vivo Y27L has ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, elctronic compass, and gravity sensor. The smartphone comes in silver and blue colors.
The Vivo Y15S is also based on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has Vivo’s customised Funtouch OS 2.1 interface. Besides, this handset has 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, 128 GB micro SD card slot, 5 inch IPS display with 854×480 pixels resolution, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, and dual SIM with 3G connectivity.
There was no information about Vivo Y31 on the company’s India website but as per the global website of Vivo, the Y31 has a 4.7 inch HD IPS display, 1.3 GHz MT6580 quad core processor, Android Lollipop operating system, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, 2100 mAh Li-Po battery, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 128 GB expandable storage slot, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
