Vivo sub-brand, iQOO has today teased its next smartphone launch in China with iQOO Neo. The company has posted a promotional image of the upcoming Vivo iQOO Neo on its official Weibo account.
Looking at the promotional image of the iQOO Neo, it is clear that the smartphone will feature a full-screen display with a dewdrop notch design. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will come in two colour options with one sporting a combination of Blue and Purple gradient finish, while other variant features a black texture design. The phone will have a triple rear camera set up along with LED flash aligned vertically on the right side of the back panel. As of now no more official details has been shared by the company.
Earlier, a new phone with the model number Vivo V1914A was spotted on the Geekbench website and also got 3C certification in China, which was rumoured to the next iQOO device. As per, Geekbench, the Vivo V1914A will have Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6GB of RAM and will run on Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the smartphone scored 2321 and 8041 points respectively. On the other hand, the 3C certification revealed that the phone will carry support for 22.5W rapid charging.
Recently, posters of IQOO Youth Edition was doing rounds on Weibo, claiming that the phone will have two variants, one with Snapdragon 845 and other with Snapdragon 710 versions. Both models will have 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage and 4,000mAh battery. Further, as per poster, Snapdragon 845 and Snapdragon 710 variants will be priced at 1,998 Yuan and 1,798 Yuan respectively. Also, the images of the phone on the poster shows that the smartphone will carry waterdrop-style notch design.
Now the company has announced that the upcoming phone will be named as iQOO Neo. The earlier poster was not revealed by the company, meaning the authenticity of the poster is in question. So we have to wait till the company reveals more details on Vivo iQOO Neo smartphone.
