Indian electronics giant, Videocon has announced its new smartphone, Z55 Krypton. The smartphone is priced at Rs 7,999 and comes in black-gold and white-silver colours.
The Z55 Krypton has a 5 inch HD display with Dragon trail X glass. It measures 144.6 x 71.8 x 8.6 mm and is based on Android Lollipop operating system that runs on the 1.3 Ghz mediatek MT6753 quad core processor with the help of 1 GB RAM. It offers 8 GB of internal memory and a 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The Videocon Z55 Krypton is armed with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel auto focus front camera. Besides, the phone has FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS, micro USB 2.0 port, 3G connectivity and dual SIM.
The under Rs 10,000 handset market is now flooded with many smartphones, some of which even offer octa core processor, 2 GB RAM and 4G connectivity.
