Toshiba to launch tablets with 3D display and mobile TV

Toshiba has 3D display tablets, connected TV services, PCs, and some green initiatives to showcase at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 that starts tomorrow in Las Vegas.

Toshiba has lined up an interesting array of technologies to showcase to visitors of the Consumer Electronics Show starting tomorrow in Las Vegas, USA.

A major attraction will be Toshiba’s 3D glasses-free tablet prototype that runs on Honeycomb.

The company will also showcase TVs and PCs which will be connected to one another via cloud based software. Toshiba’s display at the CES will feature forthcoming networked TVs that support diverse services including Yahoo! Widgets, YouTube Leanback; and demonstrate TV and PC interconnectivity using Skype.

The Toshiba Group promotes three green initiatives: Greening of Process, Greening of Products and Greening by Technology, which it will showcase at the Consumer Electronics Show. The company will introduce environmentally conscious business activities, products and technology in these three categories.
