Timex Blink activity tracker with SOS technology launched in India

The fitness band comes with a price tag of Rs 4495 for leather style and Rs 4995 for bracelet style.

Timex has collaborated with an Indian consumer technology start-up Blink to launch a new activity tracker for the Indian market. Dubbed as Timex Blink, the fitness comes with a price tag of Rs 4495 for leather style and Rs 4995 for bracelet style. The watch will be exclusively available on Timex authorized stores starting from November 15. As a part of an introductory offer, every box of the device comes with a complimentary Silicone sport strap.

The major highlight of the fitness tracker is the SOS technology, which has the ability to send instant mail, and save emergency contacts with the user’s Location in case of an emergency. The activity tracker uses to connect to your phone and one can monitor the activities via Timex Blink app, which is available for both and iOS. The device is available in Black SS, Silver SS, and Rose Gold SS colour options.

The device tracks steps, distance, calories, sleep and the brand claims that it can deliver a back-up of 10 days. As for the technical specifications are concerned, Timex Blink sports a 0.9-inch display along with Nordic nRF52832 CPU. The band is backed by a 90mAh battery and it is equipped with 6 axis motion sensor. The device also comes with removable straps and users have the option to choose between metal, leather and silicone straps.
