Hong Kong-based smartphone brand, Tecno Mobile is all set to launch its latest smartphone, named as “Phantom 9” in India on July 10 at 12 Noon. The teaser page is now live on Flipkart with key specifications. The company has already launched Tecno Phantom 9 smartphone in Nigeria at price tag of 77000 Naira (approximately Rs 14,712) and will be launching in Nairobi on the 15th of July. Looking at the Nigeria pricing, we would expect this smartphone to be priced under Rs 15,000.
As far as specifications are concerned, The Tecno Phantom 9 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dot Notch display with 1080 x 2340 pixel Resolution and has a Pixel density of 403. The phone comes armed with MediaTek Helio P35 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage of up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the Phantom 9 houses a triple AI rear camera setup with 16-megapixel as a primary sensor with F1.8 night algorithm 2.0, 8-megapixel as secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with Super Quad Flash On the front it has 32-megapixel AI selfie camera with Dual LED flash. The selfie camera features include AI beauty mode and Wide selfie mode. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with HIOS 5.0 on top of it and is backed up by a 3500mAh non-removable battery. The phone has In-display Fingerprint sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity, Light, Compass and comes with Eyecare mode as well. It has all standard connectivity options.
