Tecno Mobile has added three new members to its smartphone portfolio with the launch of CAMON iAIR2+, CAMON i2 and CAMON i2X. The smartphones will go on sale starting September 26 and all three of them will be available across major retail stores in the country.
The Tecno CAMON iAIR2+ comes with a price tag of Rs 8,999, CAMON i2 is priced at Rs 10,499 and CAMON i2X will cost you Rs 12,499. All the three smartphones come with Tecno 111 promise under which users will get 1-time screen replacement in one year, 100 days’ free replacement, and 1-month extended warranty.
Jumping straight to the specifications, the trio comes loaded with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a notch on the top. CAMON iAIR2+ and CAMON i2 are powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6761 processor, while the CAMON i2X is powered by a 2.0Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset.
The CAMON iAIR2+ is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, CAMON i2 features 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the CAMON i2X is loaded with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
For optics, CAMON iAIR2+ features an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a dual-camera setup at the rear, which comes with a combination of 13-megapixel primary lens and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. CAMON i2 is equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear is similar to iAIR2+. The CAMON i2X is loaded with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 Aperture and flash. For the rear, there is a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. The company says that all the three smartphones come with Auto scene detection on the rear and AI-enabled Beauty mode for the front.
The smartphones come with a fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock features as well. All of them run on Android 8.1 Oreo and are backed by a 3750mAh battery. On the connectivity front, all of them offers 4 VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
