Tecno Camon i Air launched with Full View Display and 13MP rear camera at Rs 7,999

The smartphone comes loaded with a 5.65-inch HD+ FullView display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.

After launching Camon I recently, Tecno Mobile, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings has reportedly launched Tecno Camon i Air for Rs 7,999 in India. The phone will be available through offline channels across India. The Tecno Camon i Air comes in Champagne Gold and Midnight Black colour options. The launch has been announced by a Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom on his official twitter handle.

The smartphone comes loaded with a 5.65-inch HD+ FullView display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The display comes with a 2.5D curved glass and bears an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Tecno Camon i Air is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Quad LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with video chat flash for selfies and video calling. The Camon i Air is backed by a 3050mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with company’s HiOS running on top of it.

The phone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, OTG, dual-SIM and micro USB port. The phone measures152.2 x 71.7 x 7.75 mm and weighs 134 grams.It also has G-sensor, Proximity and Ambient Light sensors.
