Spice, which now a part of Transsion Holdings, has today launched its affordable smartphone known Spice F311 in India. Price at Rs 5,599, the smartphone comes in Rose Gold, Black and Phantom Red colour variants. The smartphone is available for purchase from select retail stores in India starting today.
The Spice F311 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition). The Go edition is meant for low-end devices that run with 512MB to 1GB of memory. It includes better performance along with built-in data management features and security benefits. There is of Google apps including Google Go, Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, Gboard, Google Play, Chrome, and the new Files Go app, which are meant to be lighter and it will smoother on the entry-level devices.
The Spice F311 features 5.45-inch FWVGA display with a screen Resolution of 480 x 960 pixel with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M Processor which is paired with 1GB RAM and Mali 720 GPU. It also features a fingerprint sensor at the back to allow users to take pictures, answer and record calls, quick access to applications.
The device comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with Aperture f/2.0, Autofocus and LED flash, and for the front, there is a same 5-megapixel shooter with LED flash. The Spice VF311 packs a 2400 mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, the Spice F311 offers 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, dedicated micro SD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB OTG. The handset measures 153 x 73.55 x 8.25mm.
