Sony has announced the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Xperia XA1 Plus in India. The phone is priced at Rs 24,990 and it will be available in all Sony Center and major retail stores in India starting from September 22, 2017.

To recall, the smartphone was launched along with Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact at the IFA 2017 in Berlin. The phone comes loaded with a 5.5-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Xperia XA1 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 along with Mali T880 GPU. The device is backed by a 4GB of and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro card slot.

On the camera front, the smartphone boasts a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Hybrid AF and flash. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel short with f/2.0 aperture, 1 / 4 inch Exmor R sensor and 23mm wide-angle lens. The phone runs on 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3430mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive fast charging. On the connectivity front, the phone supports LTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n, 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB and dual-SIM. It measures 155 x 75 x 8.7 mm and weighs 190 grams.
