Sony Mobile has been on a streak of pushing out updates for its Xperia family of Android based devices. It has now pushed out a new firmware update, 6.2.A.1.100, for its Xperia Go ST27i model.
The Sony Xperia Go is a mid-range water-proof and dust-proof smartphone. Featuring a 3.5-inch display with 320×480 Pixel resolution, the Xperia Go is nice mid-range device with decent hardware. It arrived with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but is now upgradeable to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
The new firmware update 6.2.A.1.100 brings the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia Go smartphones. Users are advised to download and install this update using Sony PC companion software. No release notes were available with the update.
The Xperia Go is available in the Indian market for as low as Rs 11,870 from popular online retail portals.
