Sony today announced the Xperia C5 Ultra for the Indian market at Rs 29,990. The highlight of the phone is its cameras – it offers 13 Megapixel cameras in both front and rear panel.
Both the rear and front cameras come with auto focus ability and are armed with Sony’s Exmor RS sensor, SteadyShot video stabilisation technology, 4X digital zoom, full HD recording, HDR, image stabiliser, geo tagging and red eye reduction features.
The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has a 6 inch IPS display with full HD resolution. This display is powered by Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and Super Vivid Mode technology. It has the powerful MediaTek MTK6752 Chipset that has 64 bit octa core processor running at 1.7 GHz clock speed. To assist the processor, there is huge 2 GB RAM. The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has huge 16 GB of Internal Memory and a 200 GB micro SD card slot.
Connectivity wise too the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is quite rich with 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, NFC, Miracast, micro USB 2.0 port, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. Like other Sony smartphones, it comes armed with various sound enhancing technologies like Sony’s 3D surround sound, Clear Audio+, xLoud, Clear Bass, and Track ID music recognition. The phone offers FM radio as well.
The Android Lollipop operating system based Sony Xperia C5 Ultra measures 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 187 grams. It claimed to have a scratch resistant body. Its 2930 mAh battery claims to offer 14 hours and 24 minutes of talktime, 7.47 hours of video playback or 769 hours of standby.
It is available in black, white and glossy soft mint colours.
