Sony has released a new application, called Xperia Transfer, for Apple’s iPhone smartphones. The App makes it easy for the iPhone users to transfer stuffs like contacts, messages, calendar entries, notes, bookmarks, music and more from iPhone to Xperia
The Xperia Transfer is part of Sony’s PC companion software (Windows) and Sony Bridge for Mac. To transfer files from your iPhone, all you need to do is to back up your content in iTunes. Then you have to transfer your stuff from iTunes to Sony’s Transfer Wizard (Sony Bridge in case you have a Mac). Then connect your Xperia smartphone to the Windows PC or Mac and get the contents.
However, the app works with few devices only including Xperia V (LT25), Xperia VC, Xperia TX (LT29), Xperia T (LT30), Xperia TL (LT30), Xperia T (LT30), Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZQ. Out of all these handsets, only Z and ZL is available in India as of now.
