Lenovo India today launched Lenovo ZUK Z1 in India. This Cyanogen OS 12.1 based smartphone comes in white and grey colour variants and will be available at Rs 13,499. The smartphone will be available via flash sales on Amazon.in. Registrations for the first sale start on 10th may at 1 PM. The first sale is scheduled for 19th May at 2PM.
The Lenovo ZUK Z1 has 64GB of inbuilt storage and is backed by a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3 GB RAM. The ZUK Z1 comes equipped with USB 3.0 Type C port with reversible plugin design which claims to support transfer speed of up to 5 Gbit/s.
The phone has a 5.5 inch display that has full HD resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 450 Nits brightness. On the rear panel, the phone comes with a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, and dual LED flash and the selfie camera is an 8 megapixel.
The Lenovo ZUK Z1 has a 4100 mAh battery and has intelligent cut off feature that switches intelligently to the power source instead of using the phoneâ€™s battery once the battery is charged fully. As per Lenovo, this feature saves the battery from degrading and makes it run for long. The ZUK Z1 comes with an inbuilt 360Â° fingerprint reader button that has a 508 DPI high capacitive sensor. This fingerprint scanner can be used to lock the phone and for multitasks too.
The phone has Cyanogen 12.1 operating system. This open OS offers deep customization of the entire user interface with its theme app, including wallpapers, fonts, icons, boot animations, and 3rd party apps, allowing users to interact with their favorite services in their own way. Cyanogen 12.1 has Privacy Guard, giving users granular control of their personal data to 3rd party apps. Another security feature in this OS is its PIN Scramble that randomize the numbers behind your password, the Protected Apps feature to keep your apps private in lockable folders, and Blocked Caller List to permanently block phone numbers.
Besides, this dual SIM smartphone has connectivity options like 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, fingerprint scanner, and WiFi. The Zuk Z1 smartphone measures 155.7 x 77.3 x 8.9mm and weighs 175 grams. Its body is said to be made in aircraft-grade aluminum metal frame.
