As the festive season is approaching India, handset players are gearing up for the occasion. Next week, that is the third week of July, there will be three new smartphones launching in the country – one each by Lenovo, Zopo ( which will enter the Indian market for the first time) and LG. Here we discussed in detail about the handsets and their expected price.
Lenovo K5 Note
The Lenovo K5 Note is expected to be launched in India on 20th July. It was earlier launched in China in January this year for 1099 Yuan or approximately Rs 11,330. The Lenovo K5 Note comes in Gold and Silver colour variants. It has a metal unibody and offers a fingerprint sensor, which is located on its back panel. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Helio P10 processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. The Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system based K5 Note has Vibe UI and a 3,500 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support.
The K5 Note has 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel shooter at the back. Connectivity option includes Dual SIM, 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. The handset measures 152*75.7*8.49mm.

LG X Screen
LG will launch its latest LG X Screen smartphone in India this July 18. The smartphone was first unveiled in February this year. Though the company has not announced its price for Indian market, we expect it to be priced around Rs 20,000. In a couple of countries where it has already been launched, it has a price tag of $290.
The highlight of the LG X Screen is its secondary ‘always on’ screen that will display notifications such as incoming calls and messages. You can also customize it to display your name, motto and any personal message that will appear all the time.

The LG X Screen has a 4.93-inch primary screen that comes with 1280Ã—720 pixels (HD) resolution while its secondary 1.76-inch display has 520 x 80 pixels resolution.
It has two SIM slots and offers 4G connectivity as well. Besides, the LG X Screen has WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, micro USB 2.0 port, and WiFi Hotspot. It has a 3.5 mm jack and FM radio as well. For navigation, the phone offers GPS with AGPG and GLONASS. Its 2300 mAh battery claims to offer up to 780 minutes of 3G talk time.
This phone has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 2 TB expandable memory, Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 2300 mAh battery. The dimensions are 142.6 x 71.8 x 7.1mm and weigh 120 grams.
Zopo Speed 8
A new entrant in the Indian market, Zopo will launch its deca-core Speed 8 smartphone in India on July 20. The company is organising an event in Delhi for the launch and an invitation for the same was received by The Mobile Indian as well.
In international markets, the Zopo Speed 8 is being sold at $299.99 (approximately Rs 20,537) and we are expecting a similar price tag in India as well. Curiously, the phone was made available long back in India and is currently available on Amazon.in for Rs 31,500. The phone comes in black and silver colours.
The Zopo Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered with latest MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core processor, which is clubbed with impressive 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The smartphone runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3600 mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Speed 8 flaunts a 21-megapixel shooter on its back panel with dual LED Flashlight, PDAF, and Sony IMX230 sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera. The front shooter also comes with a LED flash.
