Sharp has announced the launch of its new smartphone – Sharp Aquos Zero in Japan. Though the company has announced the pricing of the smartphone in the country. It will be will be available in Japan by the end of the year.
Sharp Aquos Zero comes with a 6.2-inch OLED display with WQHD+ OLED display (2992 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. For storage, there is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone does not come with an option to expand memory via microSD card.
For the optics, the device is equipped with a 22.6-megapixel with f/1.9 Aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera for videos calls and selfies. It runs Android 9.0 (Pie) and is backed up by 3,130mAh battery.
The Aquos Zero is also IP68 certified for the water and dust resistance. A circular fingerprint scanner is on the back of the handset, and it also has a face unlock feature for unlocking the phone.
The SHARP Aquos Zero has various standard connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. Its dimensions are 154 x 73 x 8.8 mm and its weight is 146 grams. It also comes equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
