Samsung has unveiled two new Android smartphones, named as Galaxy Music and Galaxy Music Duos. While the Galaxy Music comes with single SIM slot, the Galaxy Music Duos is basically a dual SIM variant of the former. These handsets are expected to be released in the market towards the end of this month in various countries including India.
The Galaxy Music smartphone comes as in exciting proposition with a clear focus on music and entertainment. The price of the Galaxy Music although not revealed till now but the device will definitely fall in the mid level Android device segment with a price raging form Rs 10,000 onwards.
Galaxy Music has dual frontal stereo speakers that promise superior sound quality. Besides, it has advanced audio features such as Sound Alive and SRS to improve the overall experience. Also the device comes with an integrated FM Antenna for playback without the headset connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Music will be based on a single core processor, whose specifications are yet not released by the Korean company but it is expected that the processor will fall in the sub-1 GHz category only. But the good news is that the Galaxy Music will come with Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system for maximum compatibility with apps and functionalities.
The device comes with a 4 GB of onboard storage while another 32 GB data can be added using a standard Micro SDHC card. The imaging is handled by a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera that is capable for recording VGA resolution videos only sadly but there is a no flash provided for illumination in low light conditions.
The device is powered with a 1300 mAh battery which would be great for 1-2 days worth of usage time.
As we told earlier, the Galaxy Music Duos will have the same specification as the other but with dual SIM slot. It may cost couple of hundred bucks more than the Galaxy Music.
