Samsung to launch four new Galaxy J-series smartphones with Infinity Display in India: Report

With competition offering the latest 18:9 display, it seems that Samsung is all set to adopt the latest trend for its budget-centric smartphones, especially, the Galaxy J-series. The company is reported to launch four new smartphones under Galaxy J-series that will take the leverage of Infinity Display.

The company could launch the new smartphones in India in May and all them of will made at its Noida facility, industry sources told IANS. The upcoming smartphones would also come with different features like S Bike mode, ultra data saving mode and Turbo Speed technology, the sources told IANS.

At a time when most of the competition have already adapted to the latest display trend, Samsung has particularly left out. Honor was one of the early adopters to the technology and it introduced its range of smartphones like Honor 9i, Honor 7X and Honor 9 Lite that comes with latest display ratio. Xiaomi too adopted the latest trend for its budget-centric smartphones, the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Apart from this, there are smartphones from Infinix, InFocus, iVooMI and more that are offering the new display at a different price point. So, it would be interesting to see whether the company will be able to price the upcoming smartphones aggressively to compete with rivals and give competitive specs sheet or not.
