Samsung has showcased the Premium Suite upgrade for the flagship smartphone – Galaxy S III. This new Premium Suite Upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300 will bring several new features through the TouchWiz User Interface and the much awaited multi-window feature. As of now, the company has not clarified the estimated time of arrival for the Premium Suite Upgrade.
Samsung adds several features and functionalities through TouchWiz User Interface and collection of Samsung developed apps. Combing both elements together, Samsung calls it Premium Suite. The company will release an upgrade with the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update.
Among the highlighted features of the Premium Suite upgrade include the multi-window support that allows opening two different apps and place them next to each other. Camera app will also receive a number of improvements such as new low-light-shot function to click better images in low luminance areas. A new ‘Best Face’ function makes the camera take five images and lets the user choose the best face for each person in the image – mostly for the group photos. Also in the preview, the camera will now let you know how many faces get detected with the Face Detection and Talk Back features left on.
The Paper Artist will let you create images by changing the moods and make other edits. The accessibility menu will be available right on the top for those who are new to Android. Also for the geeks and proficient users, there is an Easy Mode that stacks five frequently used Widgets on the home screen. Facebook status update ticker can be enabled to show even on the lock screen.
For the music lovers, Premium Suite upgrade will bring capability to adjust volume on each side of the earphones. Many more features and under the hood improvements are added in the Premium Suite Upgrade. Samsung has noted that the availability of the Premium Suite upgrade will vary depending on the country and mobile operators.
