Samsung rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update to Galaxy J7 Pro

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro was launched in India the year 2017 with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

After recently rolling out the Android Pie update to Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, the company has now rolled out the Android Pie update to Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro in Russia.

The Android Pie build for the Galaxy J7 Pro carries version number J730FMXXU5CSEE and it brings the latest May 2019 Android security patch as well. While the report by SamMobile does not include a changelog, it can be assumed that in addition to new features from Android Pie, the phone will also get Samsung’s latest One UI interface. The user interface comes loaded with new design language along with the Night theme.

Since the update is being rolled out over-the-air, it may take some time before it comes to your device and will reach all the users in the coming weeks. One can also manually check for the update by going to Settings ->About Phone -> Software Update. Your device should be at least 50% charged with a stable network before starting the update.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro was launched in India in the year 2017 with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The phone later received Android Oreo update last year.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It is powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core SoC. The smartphone is backed by a 3,600 battery and on the camera front, Galaxy J7 Pro flaunts the 13-megapixel camera in the rear and front. The phone has 3GB of RAM, offers 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a micro card.
