Samsung has today officially announced the Galaxy J4 smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy J4 comes in two variants - 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 9,990 and Rs 11,990 respectively. The smartphone comes in blue, black and gold colour variants.
Mahesh Telecom, a Mumbai based retailer, yesterday claimed to be offering Samsung Galaxy J4 2GB variant for purchasing offline at Rs 9,990.
Samsung Galaxy J4 comes with unique Advanced Memory Management, a ‘Make for India’ feature which helps consumers save memory space by automatically directing image and video content from social media applications to the external memory card. Advanced Memory Management also helps in keeping the device memory clean by deleting duplicate images received on social media messengers.
The Samsung Galaxy J4 features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor and Mali-T720 MP1 GPU along with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It is backed by a 16GB/32GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The handset also has 15GB of cloud storage access via Samsung Cloud with the smartphone.

It also comes with the added Story feature that lets users create various stories from their previous memories by adding background music and easily share them on social networks.
The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is backed by a 3000mAh battery which claims to offer up to 20 hours of talk time. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor. The smartphone measures 151.7x77.2x8.1mm and weighs 175 grams.
