Samsung has dropped the price of its flagship phone Galaxy SIII, apparently in a move to push sales after the announcement of iPhone 5 by Apple.
Samsung Galaxy SIII which was available for Rs 37,900 (16GB version) is now available for Rs 34,900 across leading online stores like Saholic and Flipkart.
While Apple iPhone 5 is not yet available in India with this price cut Samsung might be looking at luring the mobile users who are planning to buy a new high-end smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy SIII has a 4.8 inch, 1280 x 720 pixel Resolution HD Super Amoled display, a quad core 1.4 GHz Exynos 4 mobile processor, running Android Ice Cream Sandwich and the new TouchWiz user interface integrated on top of it.
It also features an 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. It’s capable of recording full 1080p HD video at 30 frames per second. At the front there is a 1.9 megapixel camera that is capable of 720p HD videos for video chats.
