Samsung is soon expected to officially announce the successor of its Galaxy SII smartphone in the form of Galaxy SII Plus. This is in line with the Samsung’s tradition which launched Galaxy S Plus and S Advance after Galaxy S.
Samsung Galaxy SII Plus which has been listed on the official site of Chilean operator ‘VTR’ will come with Android 4.0, 4.5 inch Amoled screen with 800×480 resolution, dual Core 1.5 GHz Exynos processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard memory. Its storage can be further expanded upto 32GB via a micro SD card.

The phone also has an 8 Megapixel camera probably the same as in the Galaxy SII and a front facing camera.
Given that the phone has already got listed on an operator site, the official announcement from Samsung is expected to come soon. As far as pricing is concerned, it is likely to be pitted between Galaxy SII and Galaxy Note, probably at around Rs 30,000.
