Upgraded version: Samsung Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage launched in India at Rs 74,900

Samsung has today launched a new variant of the famous Galaxy S8+ with 6GB of and 128GB of internal storage. Priced at Rs 74,990, the smartphone will come in Midnight Black colour variant and will be available across India from June 9.
Further, consumers can pre-book the new Galaxy S8+ on Samsung Shop and Flipkart starting from June 2. The brand is also giving a free wireless charger with the purchase of the flagship device, as a part of an introductory offer.
“The new Galaxy S8+ variant with its best in class 6GB RAM & 128GB will give our consumers the freedom to do infinitely more. It is the ultimate device for power users who aspire to explore new possibilities, are always on top of their game and for whom multi-tasking is a way of life,” said Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India.
Rest of the specifications largely remains the same, which means that it features a 6.2-inch Quad-HD Infinity display with a screen of 2960 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by the latest Exynos 8895 which is an Octa-Core clocked at 2.3 GHz.
On the camera front, the Galaxy S8 S8+ is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual Pixel technology and f/1.7 and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with smart and aperture f/1.7.MP F1.7 Smart autofocus front camera.
It runs on the latest 7.0 Nougat and is juiced up by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging on wired and wireless. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS and LTE. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ measures 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm and 173g.
