The Galaxy S7 Active is a rugged phone which has passed the US Military Standard (MIL-STD) 810G tests.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active which was launched in the USA last year in June has now been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with the Android Nougat operating system. This means that Samsung is perhaps testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon.
The specs in the GFX listing are the same which were revealed at the launch time except now it shows Android 7.0 Nougat in the Operating System. The device was originally launched with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system
As per the GFX listing, Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a 5.5-inch display that has (2560x1440 pixels) resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides, it has a 2.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage out of which 23GB is reserved for the users, Adreno 530 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. There is no information about its battery or expandable memory in the listing.
Further, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a 12-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, gyroscope, light and proximity sensors.

Just to recall the original specs, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active comes with a 5.1 inch quad HD capacitive touchscreen that has 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The handset is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU which is coupled with 4 GB RAM. The device has 32 GB of internal memory and a 200GB expandable storage slot via micro sd card slot also. It comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. Its dimensions are 148.8 x 75 x 9.9 mm and it weighs 185grams.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. The S7 Active is the first Galaxy Active smartphone to include a fingerprint sensor. It has a 12-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity, this handset offers WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB, GPS, NFC and ofcourse 4G.
