Samsung has today launched Galaxy On6 smartphone in India for Rs 14,490. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart and the first sale will go live starting midnight July 5, 2018, at 12. A.M. The smartphone comes in Black and Blue colour options.
As for launch offers, the users will get no cost EMIs starting Rs 1,610 per month and other EMIs from Rs 482 per month, extra Rs 1,000 off and 5 percent instant discount on vis cards for first 3 online payments.
The Samsung Galaxy On6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5:9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass display (1480 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal memory and 256 GB expandable memory via micro SD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and it is backed up by 3000mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and face unlock technology as well. The smartphone features ‘Chat over Video’, to allow users to reply to messages without interrupting any already playing video.
The Galaxy On6 boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The rear camera comes with features like Beauty, Animated GIF, Action, Panorama, Food, as well as HDR modes. Both the cameras come with LED flash. For connectivity features, the smartphone will offer Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and a Micro USB 2.0 port. The handset measures 149.3 x 70.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 153 grams.
With the launch of this new On series smartphone, Samsung has announced a phone under the series after a long time. Samsung last launched Galaxy On7 Prime in this series in January this year. The Samsung Galaxy On7 smartphone was launched in two memory variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal memory and 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal memory priced at Rs 12,990 and Rs 14,990 respectively.
