The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is all set to make its international debut on August 23. The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to hit the Indian market by October and will be the first Samsung flagship phablet to offer a dual-lens camera at the back. Like with most flagship smartphones, these days, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 too has been leaked in all glory before its launch.
The upcoming Galaxy Note 8 shares the similar bezel-less ‘infinity display’ design, seen on the Galaxy S8 and S8+, however, the screen size will be a massive 6.3-inch. According to a recent news report by Venture Beat, the Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will also come with an option expand storage up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The phablet will feature dual 12MP rear cameras with 2X Optical Zoom along with an 8MP front camera.
Of course, the Note 8 will come with its trademark S Pen stylus and will be powered by a 3,300 mAh battery. The 6.3-inch dual curved display will offer a screen Resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels and the experience is expected to be very similar to that of the Galaxy S8+.
The Galaxy Note 8 will be expensive and compete directly with the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. In India, Samsung will power the Galaxy Note 8 with its own Exynos SoC with dual SIM card slots. Colour options of the Galaxy Note 8 include Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Deep Sea Blue and Orchid Grey.
