Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Mega Duos GT-I9152 smartphone will come with premium features like a dual-core 1.4 GHz mobile processor, 1.5 GB RAM and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, according to SamMobile.
Samsung is expected to bring two large screen display bearing smartphone-tablet hybrid devices under its ‘Galaxy Mega’ series including this Galaxy Mega Duos GT-I9152 smartphone which will have a 5.8 inch display. Another handset in this series is reported to come with a 6.3-inch display.
Meanwhile, SamMobile has now claimed to have got tipped about the features of the Galaxy Mega Duos GT-I9152. Quoting its sources, the website claimed that the Galaxy Mega Duos GT-I9152 will have a 5.8-inch display with 940×560 pixels resolution. That means, the display will be just big but not as crisp as the other premium Android smartphones. In a way, it will be like a large Galaxy Note or Galaxy Player device.
The Galaxy Mega 5.8 will also come with the Nature UX user interface. At the back, it will feature an 8 megapixel camera while a 2 megapixel will be in the front for self-portraits as well as video chat.
For wireless connectivity, the phone will have 3G networks support, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 while location based services will be powered by GPS with A-GPS support. Samsung will pack a 2600 mAh battery to make this large display bearing device run for long time.
From the specifications, the Galaxy Mega Duos GT-I9152 does appear to be an improved and beefed up version of the Galaxy Grand Duos. So far, there are no details on the official launch, availability or even estimated pricing of the new Mega phones.
