Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 get its first software update

The company has started rolling out the first update for both the smartphones that brings bug fixes and improvements.

Samsung recently launched two new smartphones, Galaxy M10 and Galaxy 20, under its new Galaxy M-series. Now, the company has started rolling out the first update for both the smartphones that brings bug fixes and improvements.

The latest update carries version number M205FDDU1ASA9 for Galaxy M20 and M105FDDU1ASA7. The update weighs around 102MB for the Galaxy M20 and 64.74MB for Galaxy M10. The new update brings the latest January security patch to both the devices. It also improves the security of the device.

The update also adds new and/ or enhanced features and brings stability improvements and bug fixes. In order to download the latest update, users can go Settings > Software Update to download the latest update.

To recall, the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 were launched in India a few days back. The Galaxy M20 comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990 for 3GB and 32GB storage option, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage variant is priced for Rs 12,990. The phones will go on sale on February 05, 2019, and both of them will be exclusively available on Amazon and Samsung Shop.

Taking about key specifications, the Galaxy M20 features a 6.3-inch Full Infinity V display, while the Galaxy M10 is loaded with 6.2-inch HD+ display. The Galaxy M20 is powered by an Exynos 7904 and it is available in 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage option. The Galaxy M10 is powered by an Exynos 7870 processor along with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 512GB.
