Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) launched with 5-inch Super AMOLED display, Samsung Mall for Rs 8,190

The Galaxy J2 2018 is pre-loaded with Samsung Mall which lets users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.

Samsung has today launched its new smartphone under J series named as Galaxy J2 2018 smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) is priced Rs 8,190 and it comes in Black, Pink and Gold colour options from April 27. The Galaxy J2 2018 is pre-loaded with Samsung Mall which lets users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.

On buying Samsung Galaxy J2 2018, the Jio customers will get  instant cashback of Rs 2750 in their MyJio account on recharging with Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan. They would also get an extra 10GB of 4G data on every recharge for the next 10 recharges.

As far as specifications are concerned, the smartphone will bear a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The phone will be powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with Adreno 308 GPU. It will be backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot.

On the camera front, the device will sport an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and it will be backed by a 2600mAh battery.

On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB 2.0 and dual-SIM slot. The phone measures 143.8 x 72.3 x 8.4mm and weighs 153 grams.
