The Galaxy J2 2016 has Turbo Speed Technology (TST) with which it claims to offer up to 40% faster performance than devices with double the RAM.

Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016), which was expected to be launched in India next week, has reportedly been announced for India.

As per reports, the Galaxy J2 (2016) model has been launched in India at Rs 9,750 and will go on sale from July 14 across all channels in Gold, Silver and Black colors. It comes with 6 months double data offer for Airtel prepaid worth up to Rs 4,500.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) has 5 inch Super AMOLED display. It has an LED ring around the rear camera, called as a Smart Glow ring. It can be customized for priority notifications of any or contact. Moreover, one can customize it for alerts like low battery and for selfies through the rear camera using the Selfie Assist feature.

The J2 (2016) has 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 and Mali-400MP2 and 1.5 RAM. It has something called Turbo Speed Technology (TST) with which it claims to offer up to 40% faster performance than devices with double the RAM.

The new technology proactively shuts down idle processes running in the background and declutters using its intelligent memory system to ensure resources like RAM and processor are free and ready to take on new tasks, thereby extending fastest in-class experience. Besides, it has Ultra data saving (UDS) mode powered by Opera Max and S bike mode.

The J2 (2016) has the latest Marshmallow operating system, dual SIM and a 2600 mAh battery. It has an 8 megapixel auto focus camera with f2.2 and LED flash. A 5 megapixel camera is in the front of the phone with f2.2 aperture. Besides, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) has FM radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, 4G, WiFi (b/g/n), 4.1 and GPS. For storage it has 8 GB of internal storage and a 32 GB micro card slot.
