Samsung recently launched its most-premium smartphone – Galaxy Fold in India for Rs 1,64,999. Samsung Galaxy Fold comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage and will be available in Premium Cosmos Black colour.
Pre-bookings for Galaxy Fold start today and deliveries will begin on October 20, 2019.You can also pre-book the device from Samsung’s official online store, Samsung Shop, and offline in 35 cities across select 315 outlets, including Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru.

Samsung Galaxy Fold has two screens, a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED (21:9) cover display on the front with 840×1960 pixels resolution and a 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED tablet screen with 4.2:3 aspect ratio when the phone is unfolded with 1536×2152 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 7nm octa-core Processor and it includes 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage (UFS 3.0), though there is no storage expandability.
There are a total of six cameras on the phone including three on the back (when folded in phone mode), one in front (also in phone mode), and two inside (in tablet mode). It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There are two batteries that are placed on two sides of the phone which amount to a total of 4,380mAh. Samsung offers Fast charging support and wireless charging support as well.
The Galaxy Fold runs on Samsung’s One UI on top of Android 9 Pie. For the camera, the phone is equipped with a triple camera module at the back of the phone with a combination of a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, with Dual Pixel AF, OIS, and variable f/1.5 to f/2.4 aperture; and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with PDAF, OIS, an f/2.4 aperture, and 2X optical zoom.
For the front, there is dual camera with a combination of a 10-megapixel f/2.2 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel RBG depth camera with an f/1.9 aperture. Finally, the cover camera is a 10-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
