Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with 4GB RAM, Android Marshmallow in the making

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro has been spotted on GeekBench.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, which was recently spotted on Indian export import website Zauba, has now been spotted on a GeekBench benchmarking website. The new C series smartphone from Samsung has the model number SM-C7010.

In the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro got 1000 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 5679 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 2.21 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is based on the 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The model number of the handset in the GeekBench listing is also SM-C7010.

Along with Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, Samsung is also working on Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro. As per earlier reports also, Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will come with the model number SM-C5010 and the Galaxy C7 Pro will come with the model number SM-C7010. Further, the C5 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 625 and the C7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 626 chipset which is in line with the latest Geekbench listing.

Last month, Galaxy C7 Pro was spotted entering India on the import tracker website Zauba. Previously both of these smartphones have been rumoured to be in works. Both the devices seem to be successors to Galaxy’s C5 and C7 which were launched in June 2016. However, Samsung failed to launch both the devices in India so we are not so sure if the Pro variants will launch in India or not.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy C5 offers a 5.2-inch display with full (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor and Adreno 405 GPU. The phone has a 128 GB expandable memory slot. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2,600 battery. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone flash, f/1.9 and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a port. The handset measures 145.9 x 72 x 6.7 mm and weighs 143 grams.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy C7 offers a 5.7-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable memory slot, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and a 3,300 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a micro USB port. The handset measures 156.6 x 77.2 x 6.7 mm and weighs 165 grams.
