Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro dual sim variant now FCC certified

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is also expected to launch in India soon.

Seems like Samsung is soon going to launch Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro in the United States. The device has now got FCC certification with the model number SM-C701F/DS, which means that the smartphone is also expected to launch in US as well in near future. For those who don’t know, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US. Samsung had unveiled Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro earlier this year in January in China. Later, the device was also made available in Hong Kong last month.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro

The model number SM-C701F/DS is a variant of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro which originally came with the model number SM-C701. The DS in the model name refers to the dual variant. The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro recently received the Wi-fi certification by the Wi-Fi Alliance with the same model number SM-C701F. We expect the device to be launched in India also soon as the official Samsung India website has also listed the device with the same model number on its support page.

The Galaxy C7 Pro is available in Arctic Blue, Pink, and Gold colours, and is priced at CNY 2,899 (approximately 27,000) in China. The device is priced at $435 (approximately Rs 28,000) in Hong Kong.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro offers a 5.7-inch display with full (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 256GB expandable memory slot, 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and a 3,300 battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The device also features a front-facing fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the physical home button. Moreover, the Galaxy C7 Pro has Samsung’s Always-On display and supports Samsung Pay.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro flaunts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back and a 16-megapixel camera at the front with f/1.9 aperture. Both the cameras can record full-HD videos at 30 frames per second. On the connectivity front, the device offers hybrid Dual SIM, LTE, WiFi, 4.2, GPS, and a USB Type C port. The handset measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 7.0 mm and weighs 172 grams. The smartphone also sports acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and RGB light sensor.
