Samsung Galaxy A9 Star, Galaxy A9 Star Lite available for pre-order

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star will feature dual-camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter for videos and selfies. The phone features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display (2280 x 1080 pixels).

Samsung is all set to launch its latest mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in China. As per a leaked promotional poster, the phones are destined to launch on June 7, 2018, in the Chinese market. Now, the brand has started taking the pre-orders of both the smartphones.

The Chinese Samsung Online store has started taking pre-orders of the upcoming devices till June 14. The phones will then go on sale on June 15. The Galaxy A9 is priced at 3699 Yuan (approx. Rs 38,738), while the Galaxy A9 Star Lite is up for pre-order for 2,699 Yuan (approx. Rs 28,266). The website has also spilt some beans on the specifications of both the mid-range smartphones.

To start with the Galaxy A9, the smartphone will feature dual-camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter for videos and selfies. The phone features a 6.28-inch Full Super with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via card slot. The Galaxy A9 Star will feature 3,700mAh battery and it will support features like Dolby Atmos and Face Unlock. The phone will be available in Black and White colour options.

Coming to the Galaxy A9 Star Lite, the phone features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The phone will be backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device features a 24-megapixel rear camera and a 24-megapixel selfie camera. The phone will be backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
