Samsung recently launched Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) with quad rear cameras at an event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Now the phone will reportedly launch in India on November 4. The phone will be launched in China with the name Galaxy A9S today.

As per a report of 91Mobiles, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is all set to be announced in India on November 4. However, there is no official confirmation on it by Samsung. So we advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.

The USP of the phone is its quad rear cameras and the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is the world’s first quad camera smartphone. The phone has a 24-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 10-megapixel lens along with an f/2.4 and 2x optical zoom, 8-megapixel 120 degree Ultra Wide camera with f/2.4 aperture and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth camera for shots with artificial bokeh. For the front panel, the phone has a 24-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture. All the cameras are backed by the company’s own camera software, dubbed Intelligent camera feature.

For the software, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) runs 8 Oreo OS that is overlaid with Samsung Experience UI. and it gets its power from the 3800mAh battery with adaptive fast charging. It features a 6.3-inch (1080×2220 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 which will be coupled with 6GB/8GB of and 128GB internal storage. The memory can be expandable to 512GB via micro card.

Connectivity features on the Galaxy A9 (2018) includes VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, v5, + GLONASS, (Optional). The phone measures 162.5 x 77 x 7.8 mm and weighs 183 grams. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner on the backside.
