Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, Galaxy A6+ price slashed in India

The Galaxy A8 Star is now available for Rs 29,990. The smartphone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 34,990. This reflects a price cut of Rs 5,000.

Samsung has reportedly slashed the price of its two smartphones, the Galaxy A6+ and Galaxy A8 Star in India. The smartphones now come with a starting price of Rs 18,990.

As per Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the Galaxy A8 Star is now available for Rs 29,990. The smartphone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 34,990. This reflects a price cut of Rs 5,000.

Coming to the Galaxy A6+, it comes with a new price tag of Rs 18,990. To recall, the phone was launched in India for Rs 25,990. Interestingly, the company recently slashed the price and it was then available for Rs 21,990.

Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus

Recollecting some key specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A6+ has an octa-core Snapdragon 450 with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz. The Galaxy A6 Plus comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display design and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and has 3,500mAh battery. It is equipped with a dual-camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 and a secondary 5-megapixel with a f/1.9 sensor on the back panel. It has a 24-megapixel selfie camera with a f/1.9 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a 6.28-inch FHD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It features a dual-camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor and a 24-megapixel front camera.
