Samsung had launched its smartphone Galaxy A8 for Rs 32,500 in India last year. Now seems Samsung is working on its successor, Samsung Galaxy A8 2016. The unannounced Samsung smartphone that has model number Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 (SM-A810) has been found on GFXBencmarking website.
As per the listing on GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy A8 2016 has a 5.1-inch display that has full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution and 5 finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Exynos 7 2.1 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage out of which 25GB is reserved for the users, Mali T760 GPU and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. In the listing there is no information about its battery or expandable memory.
Further, the Samsung phone is listed with 16-megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED flash in its rear panel. There is a 5-megapixel camera in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and proximity sensor as well.
Recently, the smartphone with model number SM-A810F was also spotted on Zauba, the Indian import/export website, as per which the Galaxy A8 2016 features 5.7-inch screen which can be wrong as Zauba is not relaible for screen size information.

The smartphone runs on the latest Android v5.1 (Lollipop) operating system. It has internal memory of 32GB which can be further expanded to 128 GB via micro SD card. On the display front, it has a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with 1920×1080 resolution. It weighs 151 grams.
Galaxy A8 is loaded with 16 megapixel auto focus rear camera with optical image stabilisation, f/1.9 aperture, a Wide-Angle lens (120 degrees) and LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera which can be used to take wide selfies. It even has a fingerprint scanner which doubles up as a home button and can be used to lock/unlock the device.
The Dual SIM Samsung Galaxy A8 is equipped with LTE Cat 6 (4G) and a has a 3050 mAh Li-ion, non-removable battery. Other connectivity options in A8 are GPS, GLONASS WiFi 802.11, a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and WiFi Direct.
