Samsung has launched two new smartphones in the Galaxy A series in China – Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A40s. Samsung Galaxy A60 is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,700), whereas the Samsung Galaxy A40s is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 15,600).
The Samsung Galaxy A60 features a 6.3-inch LCD Infinity-O display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.8%. The punch-hole display of the phone houses its selfie camera. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs Android 9 Pie out of the box.
For the camera, the Galaxy A60 features a triple camera setup on the back. The configuration includes 32-megapixel with f/1.7 Aperture + 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture + 5-megapixel depth sensor. The fingerprint sensor also lies at the rear of the device. The battery capacity of the phone is 3,500mAh and it comes with support for USB Type-C.
The Samsung Galaxy A40s features a 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity-U display with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. The display has a waterdrop notch on the top which houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Exynos 7904 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back and carries a 3.5mm Headphone jack as well.
Like Galaxy A60, the Galaxy A40s also features a triple camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The phone is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It runs Android 9 Pie out of the box. Both the Galaxy A60 and the Galaxy A40s come with NFC support.
Just yesterday, Samsung launched Galaxy A70 in India for Rs 28,990. The smartphone will be available on Samsung official website, Samsung Opera House, retail stores and Flipkart starting from May 01, 2019. The company will start taking pre-booking of the Galaxy A70 from April 20 to April 30. Customers who pre-book the new smartphone will get Samsung U Flex Bluetooth device at a discounted price of Rs 999, against its original price of Rs 3,799.
