Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) now received WiFi certification

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) smartphone was earlier spotted on GeekBench website and Indian Import and Export website-Zauba. Now the smartphone has reportedly got the WiFi Alliance certification as well.

As per WiFi certification, there will be two variants of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), one comes with Single-SIM (SM-A520F), while other one has dual-SIM (SM-A520F/DS) and will run on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

As per earlier listings, Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a 1.87 GHz octa core Samsung Exynos 7880 processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow operating system. On Geekbench, the phone got 817 in single-core test and 4692 in multi-core test.

As per reports, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) said to have 16 GB of internal storage, 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 3000 mAh battery.

The Galaxy A5 (2017) will succeed the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) which was launched in India in February this year at Rs 29,400. It offers a 5.2 inch S with full high definition resolution. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB of internal memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot. The A5 (2016) offers 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Both the front and rear cameras of the phone have f1.9 aperture. The rear cameras of the phone also have Optical Image Stabilisation feature. The phone has a 2900 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor and connectivity.
