Samsung Galaxy A30 receives new update in India

This new firmware improves the GPS performance of the Galaxy A30 as well as the stability of the proximity sensor and improved stability of audio.

After receiving an update recently, Samsung Galaxy A30 has again received a new update in India. The new update brings some improved features along with the latest security patch to the device.

The firmware version for the latest update is A305FDDU1ASD5/A305FODM1ASD5/A305FXXU1ASD5. The update is reported to be 180.49MB in size and it also brings the April 2019 Security update. This new firmware improves the performance of the Galaxy A30 as well as the stability of the and improved stability of audio.

Along with the new software version, Samsung has improved the overall performance of the smartphone by fixing minor issues and enhancing existing features. In order to check for the latest update, users can go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

To recall, the Samsung launched Galaxy A30 along with Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A10 in February this year. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 16,990 and the brand recently introduced anew Red colour option of the Galaxy A30.

The Samsung Galaxy A30 features a 6.4-inch full Infinity-U display. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor. The phone gets a dual rear camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide sensor. For the front, the phone has a 16 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The device runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with fast charging. It comes with 4GB with 64GB storage which can be expanded up to 512GB via micro card.
