Samsung has announced three new variants of its Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 with 5.5 inch, 5.2 inch and 4.7 inch screen. The new versions come with metal and glass body with narrower bezel. Among other improvements include OIS cameras, fingerprint sensors, NFC and support for Samsung Pay. All the devices come in dual SIM variant.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016), the costliest among the three, offers a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED Display with full high definition resolution, 1.6 GHz octa core processor, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB Internal Memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot.
It has a 13 megapixel OIS rear camera with F1.9 Aperture and a 5 megapixel front camera with F1.9 aperture. The 172 grams weighing Galaxy A7 (2016) measures 151.5 x 74.1 x 7.3mm and has a 3300 mAh battery and comes with fast charging facility. The phone offers 4G connectivity, WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0 port and a host of other sensors.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is also compatible with 4G and has the Android Lollipop operating system. It has a 1.6 GHz octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of inbuilt memory, 128 GB micro SD card slot and a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution.
The A5 (2016) has a 2900 mAh battery and weighs 155 grams. It too offers the same connectivity features as the A7 (2016) as well as the 13 megapixel OIS rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) comes with a 4.7 inch HD Super AMOLED display and runs on a 1.5 GHz quad core processor with the help of 1.5 GB RAM. It too offers 16 GB of internal memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot. This 132 grams weighing smartphone comes with a 2300 mAh battery, Android Lollipop operating system, 4G, WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, micro USB 2.0 port and a host of other sensors.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) also offers a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera but it does not have the OIS feature as the other two.
