Samsung announces Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ Cardinal Red colour variant

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ in the new Cardinal Red colour are already available for purchase in Switzerland.

Samsung has announced a Cardinal Red colour variant of its latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. Till now, both the smartphones were available in white, black, pink, blue, yellow, and green colours.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ in the new Cardinal Red colour are already available for purchase in Switzerland. As of now, only the 128GB model has the Cardinal Red variant. The Cardinal Red color variant of the Galaxy S10 is priced at CHF829.95 (approx. Rs 57,800) and the Galaxy S10+ is priced at CHF929.95 (approx. Rs 64,800).

The news comes via SamMobile, which says the Galaxy S10e will also be available in red soon. The report also reveals that the Red Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e will only be available in certain markets, including some western European countries and Russia.

To recall, the company launched Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e for the Indian market in March this year. The Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with a price tag of Rs 66,900 for the 8GB + 128GB storage option and Rs 84,900 for the 8GB RAM + 512GB storage option.

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ comes with a price tag of Rs 73,900 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, Rs 91,900 for 8GB RAM + 512GB storage option and Rs 1,17,900 for the 1TB storage and 12GB RAM option.

Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ feature 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch QHD+ Curved respectively with an aspect ratio of 19:9. On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are equipped with a triple camera setup which comes with a combination of a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 lens, a 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.5/ f/2.4 auto-focus lens, and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor f/2.2 fixed-focus lens.

For the front, Galaxy S10 has a 10-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 while the Galaxy S10+ comes with dual front-facing cameras with an 8-megapixel RGB sensor and 10-megapixel lens. They run on 9.0 Pie, which is based on OneUI. The Galaxy S10 is equipped with a 3,400mAh battery while the Galaxy S10+ comes with 4,100mAh battery.
