RIM hints BlackBerry Bold 9790 and Curve Touch 9380 in the anvil

RIM announces two new smartphone simulators for developers to work and subliminally announces BlackBerry Bold 9790 and Curve Touch 9380.

Research In Motion has inadvertently hinted at two new smartphones – Bold 9790 Bellagio and Curve Touch 9380. The new BlackBerry 7 smartphones might be announced at the BlackBerry DevCon that starts on October 18.

The new BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380 is a full touchscreen handset that will feature 3.2 inch touchscreen display supporting 480×360 with 4:3 aspect ratio and has 189 pixels per inch. This handset might be one of those youth centric BlackBerry handset at an affordable price range.

New BlackBerry Bold 9790 will feature a 2.44 inch display with 480×360 pixel resolution but will have 245 pixels per inch and 4:3 aspect ratio. The text and images will appear bit crisper on this handset compared to the Curve Touch 9380.

Obviously, both devices will run the BlackBerry 7 but it is quite unsure at this moment whether both or either of them will come with Near Field Communication chip.

There’s no official word on when both devices would be announced but we can expect official details at RIM’s developer conference &#151 BlackBerry DevCon.
