More images of the new HTC smartphone, the M7, have been unearthed. This time, Android Police has published the ‘confidential images’ of the handset on its website.
HTC M7 was revealed some days back and had been reported then by The Mobile Indian as well. HTC is rumored to unveil the new M7 smartphone during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
As per the new images, the HTC M7 looks like to have a new user interface. HTC usually brings a new user interface for its smartphones – dubbed as Sense – every year. So, logically the HTC M7 would sport a new user interface, probably the Sense 5 user interface. Though not much is known, the leaked shots hint at subtle changes in the user interface; in the lock screen, the ring gestures seem to have been removed.
The HTC M7 is expected to feature full 1080p HD resolution supporting display and has a design inspired form HTC 8X smartphone with a similar looking matte finish rear. The HTC M7 is also expected to feature a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon mobile processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage, something similar to the specifications featured on the recently unveiled HTC Butterfly.
Along with that HTC is also expected to bestow this device with a 13 Megapixel snapper at the back and a high definition front facing camera. For operating system the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 seems to be the appropriate candidate. An official announcement regarding the smartphone is awaited from HTC.
