Redmi Y3 smartphone was launched in India in the month of April and was available on flash sales through Amazon India and Mi online store. Now the company has decided to go with open sale model and will be available for purchase 24×7 starting 12 AM 6th June via Amazon India and Mi online store. The phone comes in two variants, the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage is priced at Rs 9,999, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option cost Rs 11,999. Redmi Y3 comes in three different colour options Prime Black, Bold Red and Elegant Blue.
Recently, we have reported that the Redmi Y3 is available for purchase through offline stores as well. However, offline pricing is a bit on a higher side, which is Rs 1,000 higher than the online listing price.
On the specifications front, Redmi Y3 has 6.26-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass (1520 x 720 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio, the screen is protected by 5th generation Corning Gorilla Glass 5, features an enhanced reading mode with low blue light, comes armed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU, houses a fingerprint sensor, IR blaster and face unlock feature The phone also comes with an option to expand the storage up to 512GB through microSD card.
The device houses dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with 1.25-micron pixel size and a 2-megapixel depth sensor along with single tone Dual LED flash. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone gets its juices from a 4000mAh battery and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10. Moreover, the phone is splash proof, as it is protected by P2i nano-coating technology and comes with all standard connectivity options.
