Xiaomi recently launched Redmi Note 7 in India in two variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB + 64GB. In China, the smartphone comes in three variants – 3GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64 storage and 6GB RAM + 64 GB storage. Now as per reports, the company will be launching a higher variant of the phone with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage in China.
MySmartPrice reports that the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Redmi Note 7 might be launched soon. The report further reveals that Redmi 7 might also go official on March 18 along with the launch of Redmi Note 7 Pro in China on March 18. However, there is no official confirmation on the launch date of the Redmi 7 smartphone yet.
To recap, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84 percent NTSC colour gamut. The display of the Redmi Note 7 is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
For the camera department, the Redmi Note 7 is equipped with a dual camera setup with one 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with LED flash and f/1.8 Aperture and another 5-megapixel sensor for depth information. Up front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie sensor as well.
The smartphone runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
