Realme has launched a new smartphone in China, called the Realme V23i. The specifications of the V23i were leaked back in May of this year. This suggests that the launch of the Realme V23i was delayed by a few months. Separately, a new report says that Samsung could be working on launching new budget devices in India this week.
Realme V23i Price, Specifications
The Realme V23i is priced at CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 16,600) for the sole 4GB+128GB edition and it has been launched in Mountain Blue and Jade Black colours.
The Realme V23i sports a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 1612 × 720 Pixel Resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
For the cameras, the smartphone features dual rear cameras. This consists of a 13-megapixel primary, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. In addition, for the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls.
On the battery front, the smartphone is fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 10W standard charging speed. It runs on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The Realme device measures 163.8 x 75.1 x 8.0mm and weighs around 185 grams.
Samsung Galaxy A04e, Galaxy A04 India launch
The Samsung Galaxy A04 and the A04e were launched back in October and it seems like India launch of the same devices is now on the cards. News agency IANS, citing industry sources, claims the Galaxy A04 and A04e will be launching in India this week, priced under Rs 10,000. The smartphones will arrive with RAM Plus feature, supporting up to 8GB RAM. The exact launch date of the devices is yet to be confirmed by the Korean brand.
The Galaxy A04e has a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It packs an unspecified octa-core SoC which is reportedly the Helio G35 but Samsung hasn’t confirmed it yet. It is paired with up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card.
