Realme recently launched a new variant of its U1 smartphone with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs 10,999. Now the smartphone will go on sale today via Amazon India at 12:00 PM and Realme’s own website at 11:00 AM. Realme has also announced that the first 500 buyers of the Realme U1 3GB/ 64GB via Realme.com will get a pair of Realme Buds for free.
The smartphone will be available in Ambitious Black and Brave Blue colour variants. Apart from this newly launched variant, the Realme U1 comes in two more variants. The base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is available at Rs 9,999 while the top variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at Rs 11,999.
To recall, the Realme U1 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ dewdrop display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 2.1GHz octa-core processor and ARM G72 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage can further be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). It’s backed by a 3500mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is based on ColorOS 5.2.
In the imaging department, the Realme U1 features a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 Aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For the front, there is a 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.8-micron pixels, and 4-in-1 pixels tech and AI beautify feature that scans 296 facial recognition points and studio portrait lighting modes.
